Nimble Storage continues expansion into Europe with Benelux office in Amsterdam
Appoints regional sales managers and opens local offices
London, UK, 26 January 2012 — Nimble Storage, the provider of flash-enabled, no-compromise storage solutions, today announced that following strong interest in the company’s solutions in Europe, it has opened offices in Amsterdam and Hamburg directly covering Austria, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands. These are headed by new hires Arjen Koen and Tim Berndt, respectively responsible for the Benelux and DACH regions. Additional offices are planned for France and Scandinavia to support existing customers and partners and to create a solid platform to grow the local operations on. The UK office remains the headquarter for Nimble Storage in EMEA. As a result today Nimble has a strong team of sales and marketing professionals as well as system engineers in the main European markets.
Since the company’s official launch in Europe last October with the appointment of Philip Turner as EMEA sales director, a number of resellers have been signed up and further mid-size, driven VARs with specialist storage and virtualisation expertise will be added in all the territories as part of a highly focussed and bold two-tier channel marketing program.
